Who is responsible?

When you browse this website

Our hosting provider, OVHcloud, processes technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect this website. The website is hosted on a server in the United Kingdom. We use this processing for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, functioning website.

This information website has no account registration, checkout or enquiry form. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, third-party embedded content or cookies. Fonts, styles and images are served with the website.

When you email us

Clicking an email link opens your own email application. We receive a message only if you send it. We then receive your email address, the message and any contact details or other information you choose to include.

We use this information to answer your request and manage related business correspondence, based on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries. Providing information is voluntary. Without a reply address or sufficient detail, we may be unable to respond meaningfully.

Sending an enquiry does not automatically add you to a marketing mailing list. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry.

Service providers and international processing

Hosting and email providers process information to operate the website and handle messages. Email sent to hello@firebidradar.co.uk is forwarded through Porkbun to a Google-hosted mailbox.

Email providers may process correspondence in the United States and other countries. Google describes the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and contractual safeguards in its international transfer policy. Porkbun describes its transfer safeguards in its privacy policy. Contact us for more information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

OVHcloud describes its data protection arrangements in its personal data protection information. Third-party websites linked from this site operate under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep information

We retain correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and related follow-up, resolve complaints or meet applicable legal obligations. The relevant retention period depends on the purpose and circumstances of the correspondence. You can request information about the retention applying to your message.

The web server does not keep routine page-access logs. Limited operational records are used to diagnose faults and protect the website; these records rotate automatically and are overwritten when their storage limit is reached. We do not use connection information to build advertising profiles or measure individual visitors for marketing.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or data portability.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To make a request or raise a concern, contact hello@firebidradar.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit the ICO complaints page for information about how to do so.
